Yeah, I really enjoy the sportster a lot. I've had it almost a year now, been in for warranty twice, once for a valve cover oil leak (suprise, it's a harley), and the tailight assmbley broke due to vibration. The sporster has a much bigger feel than the Savage, and is a little more powerful but I still like the lightness and quicksteering of the Savage. Also, the beleive it or not, the Savage feels more "harlyesque" because the foot controls are further forward. The Harley sounds better and is more comfy for long distances but on the other hand, I used the Savage for 3 years for everything, so to me a bike can go anywhere you point it. If your not spoiled by something more fancy, then you don't miss it. Ride safe. Good to see your still around this site Max.
